A REPENTANT HEART
By taking corrections from God the father and trusting him as your greatest love, we can continue to walk and stand in his way. The backslidings and healing of Israel can be read in Jeremiah ch 3. In jer 3:19 it says "but i said how shall i put thee among the children and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage among the host of nations? and said thou shall call me father and shall not turn away from me. We are called today as his children to do his work but to do this we must be conscious not falling asleep or giving up. Tim 4:16 take heed unto thy self and unto the doctrine continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself and them that hear thee. Exodus 12: 43-47 The ordinance of the passover that was given by God was that no stranger should eat of it but if one one were to eat they should be circumcised. In Ezekiel ch 32 it can be read about one that is not circumcised. The uncircumcised were the ones with out God's protection or covenant. In Ezek 32 judgment was set on the Egyptian for their wickedness; their destruction was described as going down with the uncircumcised. Remember the life event of David and Goliath and David's covenant with God. The God of Israel shows great love and grace towards his people. Even in their backsliding ways the Lord says,
" .....yet return again to me , saith the Lord" Jer 3:1. God calls for the circumcision of the heart where only truth and love can be seen. God wants us to be his bride where he says, " yet return again to me". Now with the covenant of Jesus blood we have access to God and his promises; 1Cor 7:19 circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
